A list of How-To's to help guide you through some basic home security troubleshooting steps.

SUPPORT HOURS

While our monitoring station and emergency technical support staff are available 24/7, here's some additional information to help guide your outreach. 

Monitoring Station

Our Monitoring station is available 24/7!

If you call into our business line, and we are experiencing high caller volume, your call will be routed to our Monitoring Station for assistance.

Technical Support

During business hours if you call in and support is not immediately available... You can reasonably expect a return call within 24 business hours. 

Outside of normal business hours, emergency technical support is available and comes with a 2 hour minimum billable. If support is not available at the time of your call you can expect to receive a return call within about 4 hours.

A list of quick how-to's to help guide you through getting the most out of your home security system. 

To wake the screen from the screen saver image...
Touch the screen.
Did you know that there are help videos built into your panel?

1. Touch the icon in the top right of your screen that looks like an envelope.

2. Touch the Video Tutorials tab.

3. Watch the Video that most applies to what you are looking for.

How to clear the envelope icon in the top right of the screen from showing a number.
1. Touch the icon in the top right of your screen that looks like an envelope.
2. Touch the circle to the left of any messages that you want to clear / or:
3. Touch the circle next to where it says Acknowledge All to clear all messages.
Alarm is triggered with siren and needs to be shut off.
1. Try your app first to disarm. If that doesn’t work then:
2. Touch the screen and enter your passcode.
Need to disarm your system?
1. Try your app first to disarm. If that doesn’t work then:
2. Touch the icon in the center of the screen. (It looks like a lock in a red circle)
3. Enter your passcode.
Need to bypass a zone?
1. Try your app first to arm and let it auto bypass any open zones. If that doesn’t work then:
2. Touch the icon in the center of the screen. (It looks like a lock in a green circle.)
3. View additional arming options by touching the >> icon on the right side.
4. Touch the circle next to a sensor to bypass.
To control your panels volume.
1. Swipe down from top of the main screen.
2. Slide the volume left or right to adjust.
Change or add a code.
1.Try to use your app first to change users and codes. If that doesn’t work then:
2. Swipe down from top of the main screen.
3. Touch the little wrench icon labeled Settings in the bottom left corner.
4. Touch the gear icon labeled Advanced Settings.
5. Touch the person icon labeled User Management.
6. Touch Add User.

2GIG GC3 BASIC  HOW-TO'S

To awaken your screen.
Touch the screen to wake.
To clear messages and/or Trouble Conditions from the message icon at the top of the screen and stop the beeping.
1.Touch the message icon at the top of the screen. 
2.Touch Alerts or Alarms or Messages.
3. Touch the message(s) you want to read and Mark As Read or Delete.
How to disarm your system.
1. At the System Armed Screen, touch Disarm.
2. At the Enter your code to disarm the system screen, enter your 4 digit code.
To Silence and/or Clear the alarm after it has been triggered or the siren is ringing
At the Alarm screen enter your 4 digit code.
How to bypass a zone so you can arm the system.
1. Below the Sensors Not Ready list, touch Bypass All.
2. At the Enter your code to bypass sensors screen, enter your 4 digit code.
3. Proceed with arming the system.
To adjust the panel sound volume.
1. At the Home screen touch System Settings.
2. At the Enter your code to access the system settings screen, enter your 4 digit Master code.
3. Touch Sounds.
4. Touch and hold the desired control to move it left or right to adjust volume up or down.
Change or add a code.
1. At the Home screen, touch System Settings.
2. At the Enter your code to access the system settings screen, enter your 4 digit Master code.
3. Touch Users.
4. Touch Add User + to add a user code.
5. Touch the Pencil icon next to an existing user to edit an existing user.
6. Touch the Trash Can icon next to an existing user to delete an existing user.

HONEYWELL VISTA & LYNX BASIC  HOW-TO'S

A list of quick how-to's to help guide you through getting the most out of your home security system. 

To see what zone is Not Ready
1. Press the Star (Ready) button.
2. See what the keypad shows (zone number, other message, etc.)
To stop the beeping.
Enter your 4 digit code and the number 1 (Off) button.
To silence the alarm when it has been triggered or the siren is ringing.
Enter your 4 digit code and the number 1 (Off) button. You will want to do this a second time to clear the system.
To reset or clear an alarm condition
Enter your 4 digit code and the number 1 (Off) button.
To bypass a zone
(You must complete the entire sequence timely or you will have to start over.)
1. Enter your 4 digit code.
2. Push the number 6 (Bypass) button.
3. Enter the 2 digit zone number you want to bypass. If more than one zone is to be bypassed, you can enter them consecutively. (ie. Master code+6+03,04,05).
4. The keypad will beep when complete. After it beeps you should see a green Ready light if everything else is closed.
To change the Master Code
(You must complete the entire sequence timely or you will have to start over.)
1. Enter the 4 digit Master Code.
2. Push the number 8 (Code) button.
3. Enter 02.
4. Enter the new 4 digit code desired two times.
5. The keypad will beep three times to confirm.
6. Try pushing the new 4 digit code and the number 1 (Off) button. If it beeps the code works now.
To add a user code.
(You must complete the entire sequence timely or you will have to start over)
1. Enter the 4 digit Master Code.
2. Push the number 8 (Code) button.
3. Enter the 2 digit user code position desired (03-10 or more depending on the type of panel.)
4. Enter the new 4 digit code desired.
5. The keypad will beep once to confirm.
6. Try pushing the new 4 digit code and the number 1 (Off) button. If it beeps the code works now.
To delete a user code.
(You must complete the entire sequence timely or you will have to start over. You can not delete the Master code.)
1.Enter the 4 digit Master Code.
2. Push the number 8 (Code) button.
3. Enter the 2 digit user code position desired (03-10 or more depending on the type of panel.)
4. Wait until the keypad beeps once.
5. Try pushing the new 4 digit code and the number 1 (Off) button. If it does not beep, it has been deleted.
